Definition

Chlorantraniliprole is a relatively new insecticide registered with the EPA in 2008. Chlorantraniliprole is potent against certain classes of insects like caterpillars, aphids and plant-feeding beetles.

It is designated by the U.S. EPA as a low-risk pesticide due to its low toxicity to bees and other beneficial insects.
